Our Founder
Vince Murton, CFP(R), CLU, TEP is the Founder and Chief Financial Planner for IMR Financial Planning. Vince carries over a decade of financial planning experience working with families, business owners, and high-net worth individuals. In addition, he has has been working with business owners providing advanced tax and retirement strategies since 2003.
Vince fully believes that the key to quality financial planning isn’t found in the projections. Rather, truly good financial planning gives clients information and options in a relevant and accessible way. He knows that every person weighs considerations such as economics, simplicity, flexibility, and security differently. Thus, the best financial planners will not give clients the right answer but rather give them the information and knowledge they need to make the right decisions for themselves and their families.
On a personal level, Vince enjoys baseball, curling, cycling, and SCUBA diving. Fortunately, the injuries he has sustained from his hobbies have been roughly in that order as well. He also prides himself on his sense of humour. Whether this pride is well placed is an exercise best left to the reader.
